The overall quality of the game is so bad right now..

All the art, music, game play and game design means nothing if players are allowed to continue to troll ranked games. It's gotten so bad now it's almost impossible to get a game where somebody isn't dropping, afking, or going ballistic about something. There is something fundamentally flawed about how Riot approaches ranked and the expectations around the players who play it.

If somebody is dropping every 3 minutes from the game because they think it's a good idea to play on Wifi at a Panera, then why do the other 9 people in the game have to sit through it? That player should receive a ban from ranked.. let him play the other games but ranked should be held to a higher standard. I've had people in ranked try to play from a f'ing airplane.. is this the gamer experience you are really going after?

It is incredibly likely that you will upset more people who have a semi-decent internet who get occasional ping spikes and then get banned for having such. What do you want to measure connectivity by? Latency? Stability? And what intervals? You're going to be stepping on a lot of toes if you start making game mechanics that instant boot/drop/invalidate/ban in rank games. There is only so much that can be done.

i agree the current state of the game is very dis point in general i pretty much have to deal with some short of greviving in every game either on my team or enemy team. the biggest part is that people give up, and they give up ALOT,

and the thing is when they give and the ff vote fail, they just stop playing to win and at that point the game is over in the worst possible way.

and then there are the afks, trolls, very very toxic poeple,

and then there are people who refuse to cooperate in any form of team work or use their brains

if riot actually start enforcing these behavior they would lose an unacceptable amount of player base, therefore they would never do so.
