Surrender Rules Must Change

Riot, it was good that you finally put a surrender mechanism into the game, it only took you 5 or 6 years to do it but now it's time to revisit them and help out all the players who are just getting destroyed by trolls and horrible people who harm your game.

First off we should be able to surrender at the 10 minute mark with need 4 players agreeing. This helps when you get that 1 person who from the start has made the decision that they want to ruin everybody else's fun.

Second, at the 15 minute mark it should be a majority vote.. the key difference is if somebody doesn't vote it should default to yes.

And here is the major change you need to make, we 2 people are premade, duo etc.. their vote should only count as 1 vote. So if there are 5 people on the team then 2 players who are duoing shouldn't hold the team hostage. I've seen this over and over and over again, a bot lane plays absoutly terrible, the rest of the team wants to quit but the duo holds everybody hostage for 30 minutes. That's unacceptable, it drives people from the game and right now you need to do everything you can to keep people from quitting and going to Fortnite who right now, has more views regular streaming when league as the LCS on. Start putting the quality of the players lives as a priority for once.

And yet you're still playing.

Anyways, no vote should defult to a no.

Voting at 10 min, eh, maybe. Same rules as the 15 min one though. And majority at 20 min. Also, the point about duo's, don't agree.

It's not an exaggeration, I just got out of a game where the other team had 30 kills to our 10.. do you think we are coming back from that? No. Can we surrender and save everybody 10 minutes of their lives? No.. because a bot lane duo wants to 'practice' in ranked. It's ridiculousness and I've seen it over and over again.

With the new meta, the chance for coming back when way behind is extremely low.. like below 2%.. why in the hell would anybody want to keep playing that game?

Your post and suggestions seem a bit extreme, honestly. Or not extreme ENOUGH. What if we let each player, once a month, no questions asked... ban another player they've played in a match with.

But... BUT... every time you do it, you lose a full rank. Not division... rank. So, gold to silver. AND, it costs you money... say 10 bucks. AND... there is a riot team that oversees these bans, and if they find them unwarranted or petty and feel YOU were in the wrong to ban them... they will instead get a mystery skin gift from Riot and a notice saying "Someone tried to ban you, but you're a good apple" or some such. If the situation was REALLY grey they can just keep the 10 bucks and ban or gift neither party. We'll say if you get temp banned five times in a year or so by five DIFFERENT players who are all found to be rightful in paying to ban you... that you get permabanned and everyone who banned you gets a little notice thanking them for contributing to cleaning up league and maybe a mystery gifted skin or something. With only one ban per month per player and it costing 10 bucks, I'm certain we'll see a LOT less bans than reports, so it shouldn't be hard to put a few people on sorting through them, and since they're charging for the service, it'll help pay for those people's time. BAM! League is slowly cleaned up, because people are less willing to ban but they ALSO know that if they act like a shithead in even a single game, some salty asshole can drop 10 bucks to get Riot to look at that game closer... and if they WERE being a jerkoff... banned. You cannot expect the peasantry to listen to their morals... only fear will keep the rabble in line.

Is this idea absurd? Yeah, kinda. But man would it be funny to see and who knows... it might even make things a little better. It would certainly lead to a ton more hilarious posts and videos about their bans and what was and wasn't justified.

If you’re so bad that you lose the game at 10 min you shouldn’t play ranked.
