Can we get some context on the state of Dr. Mundo?

I'm just a little curious about my favorite champ. Initially, I liked the changes making him more magic resistant focused, but then he felt super situational. And then, you buffed his E, which was much appreciated to help him in more matchups. How has he been doing since? Are your goals for him accomplished? Any response would be lovely :)
