How to balance Sated Devourer.

I like this item, I'm not against it being in the game. However I think if there is a high reward there should also be high risk paired with it. Please post your thoughts below.

"While stacking Sated Devourer, you are accompanied by a Ghost Dog who will grow with Devourer stack. At 30 stacks, the Ghost Dog merges with the wielder and Devourer transforms into Sated Devourer. If the wielder dies while Sated Devourer is active, they will lose half of their previous stacks."

And you realize that completely goes against the idea of Becoming Sated in the first place. We made AS Jungler Sated, so they would STOP AFK farming, at some point.

This is interesting.

I would have it the opposite though.

While stacking Devourer, if you are killed you lose stacks.

That way the team will make an effort to try and stop the jungler early. And the jungler will have to be more careful in balancing farming vs. early ganks.

That seems a better change to me. Anyway, thornmail change indirectly nerfs sated devourer.

That idea wouldn't balance it, it would make it trash honestly because the moment you get Sated, the opponent's will just kill you and force you to keep farming and thus deny your team more help they need.

I say remove sated devourer and bring back feral flare, but do what devourer does and give more stacks for a kill or assist. So that junglers will gank early to get the item stacked faster. Also reduce the hp back on hit to 5 scaling with stacks. Also when u have FF u gain 2 stacks for a kill and 2 for an assist like devourer so that u have don't have people afk farm the entire game.
