Kalista's ultimate works outside of 1400 range units.

I've been playing Kalista since she was brought to the live servers. Myself and others have enjoyed playing her a lot. Yet there is something that I think should be addressed concerning her ultimate ability. It is simple, she can bring her Oathsworn ally into herself from beyond the range of the ability itself. This renders the opposing team's task of bringing her and her ally down harder than it should be.

If I'm wrong about a technicality of this ultimate ability I would be happy to hear about it. Otherwise this appears to be a gameplay and balance issue.

Thanks for your time.

Congratulations. You've been enjoying playing her. I Garen-tee that there are 5 other people in that game that hated playing against you. And possibly 4 team mates that hated having you on their team on principle.

Do you have anything showing that she's saving her ally outside the 1400 range units? Because 1400 units is pretty long (for reference, Lee stops being able to dash to a champ hit by his Q at 1300, Nidalee's spears have a range of 1500).

If this is a bug, it should be fairly easy to reproduce if you have a friend willing to test it with you. Get a Nidalee in game with a Kalista, soulbind, hit level 6, position Kalista just outside ult range, and have Nidalee throw a spear. If it reaches Kalista, no problems. If it does not, we have a bug that should be reported on the bug forums.

Edit: Wild Cards has a range of 1450. If there's a need to test the in between range of 1400 and 1500, TF would likely be a good choice. Xerath's max range for Q is exactly 1400 as well, same with Ziggs' max range Q.

Thanks Adrian, that's a good idea. I'll see about setting something up with a friend later tonight or tomorrow! Whether I'm right or wrong I'll report back my finding to the thread.
