Need Some Mid Lane Tips

Finished Season 6 D5 and am Plat 2 in solo queue right now. I am trying to practice my mid lane to diversify more from the jungle as I am having discipline issues with that role right now (throwing my leads). The mid laners that I play are Cassiopeia Diana Orianna Viktor Syndra.

So my main issues I am finding is knowing how to deal with lane bullies such as Varus Leblanc Xerath. I tend to let them poke me down too much and will go in to trade back only to put myself in a bad position and letting myself get ganked. How do efficiently trade back with my lane if they out range me? I have tried just making them think that I have left lane leaving them to have to hard shove into my tower, but then I end up just getting harassed under my tower and possibly dove. I am struggling to figure out what the right method is to dealing with this.

Any and all tips are appreciated.

mid lane main

i play shit like ekko viktor syndra and zed so laning is a must learn

the main thing to do is focus on cs. now that doesnt mean step up with lb passive on you and take 400 dmg for taking a minion but still. capitilize on their cd and try to keep urs up so u can kinda retaliate. with ur champ pool its kinda hard but you can take tp, shove the wave lvl 2 back, tp back in and keep the pressure up with double dorans. if you rly dislike tp cuz you dont think u can capitalize on the global pressure it gives, try taking heal/barrier/exhaust

if you can keep lane bullies under tower, it helps an insane amount by just forcing them to miss cs, investing 75 into a control ward and having your jgler nearby so that (inevitably) when their jgler comes, you can have a 2v2 skimrish and since u play mostly Viktor Syndra Orianna Cassiopeia you should come out on top

heal is to clutch out fights but with morello being so strong i wouldnt recommend it barrier for burst exhaust to catch them off guard and to try to lower their dmg out put

I tend to do fine Syndra vs Leblanc. Her dash in comes at a direction that's right at you which lines up with your E pushback. Can shove her back as she's going in to prevent her landing, or even better can push back with a ball to stun on top, then Q W as she's stunned. You have to let her try to be the aggressor and counter. Your Q W will help waveclear and shove her to tower so she'll eventually be forced to use the dash to waveclear or get pushed under tower.

All I can offer sorry. Jg main and only use Zed Syndra Swain mid if I get that role

you should either dodge their poke until they are oom or hard engage against them

sustain is always good, so buy item 2003s.
