How long will the preseason last?

It is a legitimate question that I have. I am getting cancer because of this preseason, I need to know for how long should I stop playing. If i remember correctly it was 57 day? Maybe? IDK. Help.

Season 2016 started Jan 20, 2016. Season 2017 started Dec 7, 2016. (yes, 2016) Season 2018 started Jan 10, 2018.

I'd guess it'd be in early January, but who knows.

Usually about 9 months. In a few days we should see a post about how preseason changes are looking pretty good aside from a few isolated problem champs.

Actually serious. Get ready for your head to explode when Riot gives itself a mostly glowing review of these changes.

Since season 8 preseason is still ongoing, there is no way to tell when they will decide to implement season 9.
