Context on Amumu Nerfs?
So in the recent PBE update, they nerfed Amumu, something I really don't see a reason for. Why was Amumu nerfed? He is strong, but not overbearing must pick/ban.

Those aren't exactly nerfs. Every champion is having base stats altered due to pre-season changes with items.
it was a nerf to early game and a buff to late game. And it's relatively minor compared to what his real problem is (his ultimate)
But yeah mostly tied to pre-season.
If the goal is to make the jungle more difficult to clear, by increasing the camps' base stats, then Amumu's W would have to be nerfed a bit because he would clear the jungle just as quickly as before because of his W's percentage damage.
