So after getting Garen to mastery 7, I'm looking to play another tanky top lane and Shen seems to be a fun pick. I want to get better at the game with a more mechanically challenging champion that has better team fight potential. What I would like to know is some of Shen's counters (both favorable and non-favorable) some build strategies, and general combat strategies!
Shen counters champions that heavily favor enhanced basic attacks on a high cooldown.
Nasus or Jax have theirs up too much so you'll lose out on damage each time. A Nautilus or a Kled is more your ballpark.
Shen loses hard vs. Panth, Dar, Illaoi, Mord, Cho. Does well vs AP though.
Can anyone give me advice how to taunt --> flash? Last time i got Shen in ARAM, i tired to pull off this combo a couple of times, but after i pressed E, then flash, the flash didn't go off. Am i just pressing the buttons too slowly or what's going on?
