Fiora Help

Before you yell at me for being a noob who needs to "git gud", I want to clarify that I main mages who stay in the back lines. Fiora is an entirely separate beast.

Ok, so I recently tried out Fiora, and I'm having a blast with her. He Q is simply yet fun to use, her W is hard for me, but I'm learning, her E just feels nice, and her ult, well, is better than the old one, imo.

What I'm having issues with is teamfighting. I am so used to standing in the back and CCing everyone, that this "in the middle of everything" style is a little intimidating. How do I survive just charging in? How do I play a teamfight?

Help is very much appreciated. Have a cookie. (::)

Make sure you pop your Hydra so you're getting full damage and life steal from your AA's. Make sure you're burning a squishy down to get to your ult payoff as quickly as possible. As for using W - depends on how you're jumping on, if it's a Vayne I jump on her, immediately W to soak her inevitable condemn, she's then stunned and if you hit your vitals, she's dead.

I've started to "main" Fiora after her rework, reached lvl 4 Mastery then stopped playing because well, I stopped playing ranked. At first, I was exactly like you, waiting for an opportunity/someone else to initiate. But after a lot of experience, the best way to teamfight is to initiate the fight yourself, ult the squishiest target mostly the ADC, eliminate the squishy with your full combo (Q-AA-E-Tiamat-E-Q), you should hit at least 1 vital before the squishy dies, when your ult proc's you should be able to tank some damage. Don't forget to parry the peeling with your W, your team should be able to follow up by then. Also even if you don't manage to kill the squishy (adc / mid laner) don't worry, you've already forced him to back & play much safer. I can upload a video if necessary ;)

The best time to engage is when you can proc a normal vital and then use your ultimate to proc even more vitals and get the healing buff. Ill even engage on someone tankier than the adc if I can get q -> vital proc -> ult -> vital proc + slow from e -> another vital proc. If you have tiamat and a big sword that should be about 30% of their max hp in tru dmg from your passive alone. If you have engaged on someone that your adc can attack, you they will be dead soon so use your w asap and survive for another .75 seconds or so. Even if you dont finish your ult, you just did a ton of tru dmg so peel back with your q and see what follows.

Engaging on the least mobile person on their team is a good idea too. Also, you can wait for the enemy to engage and proc vitals on someone who has just tried diving your team.
