EDIT ONE: PBE Queue times are atrocious. When I've got a few games under my belt (if I ever get there), I'll tell you some results.

Yeah I'm a little worried about mages. So far mages have been directly and indirectly hit by so many sources from mana cost, ap items costs, and benefits for other roles.
For any of you who are wondering why there are so many changes, I'm fairly sure I get what Riot is trying to do. From what I understand, they are reducing the availability of tenacity and giving a master for increase dmg to cc'ed champions. They are bringing back a carry meta and emphasizing play on being able to outplay the opponent with cc's. Since almost all of the big cc champions, (like 
) are AP, they are making sure that they won't be too powerful, especial since they now do extra dmg to towers. However, because of these price changes a lot of other AP champs are taking a hard hit, which in my opinion is unnecessary.
Or, ya know, they have no clue what they are doing.

Global gold increases from 18.4 to 20.4, hence, everything got more expensive to offset, besides those they wanted to buff.

The problem with making a "carry meta" is that EVERY meta is a carry meta. They've never NOT been necessary. So you're basically buffing up something that never needed buffs, because they're already useable as late-game facewreckers.
Right because riot didn't just update and buff the ap items????
Ok, I want to note: I played a single game as Lux, and due to the reduced price on Forbidden Idol, I rushed Morellos, and it worked pretty fine. I don't remember exactly what I built, but I remember building Mejai's (Which is just good on Lux) which now gives 200 mana, so that helped. Additionally, Llandry's and Rylia's are options I remember considering to help survive the meta. I want to start testing RoA on various AP mages.
Also, from my first time graves being like 7/3 at some point, He's OP AF.
I've decided that if I have to play AP mid, 
is my best bet. Has a good bit of burst for those 2-5 adcs.
ADC Leblanc is also pretty good late game. Just don't fight two adcs at once tho, that's gonna end badly. Lulu adc works decently as well.

I just got accepted into PBE, hopefully it isn't actually ADC's in every lane.
I'm kind of in the dark because PBE boards are not working right now.
I played yesterday with some of my supports to see if I'd be screwed with there being no mana potions. (Sona/Zilian) I was surprised to see that I didn't go oom as much or as often as I do on live. But I was running a rune page with some mana regeneration blues. Will log in today after work to retest it without that specific page and to also continue to check on the state of the other supports I play. Haven't really played any other ap mid laners or marksmen yet but supporting these revamped champion's was fun. Graves seems over tuned at the moment.
I really hope Riot focuses on AD items for now and do the AP part later.
But the AP itemization nerfs proofs they already started to work on it, and in the opposite direction as expected.
I'm not an adc main, I think it's great to have more items avaible, but making a specific role dominating the meta isnt great at all.
these items wont change the damage mages do while marksmen are cc'd.

hey mate you think you can see if mafia graves still has the unique auto attack sound i would love to get confirmation on wether he has it or they got rid of it (i know this irrelevant) and im interested in your findings with how they affected ap items

Should be completely fine. From what Ive seen, new gold gain and even the masteries offset this by a bit.
