Autofill = Loss

Hi, I'd like to say autofill is completely useless and an obstacle in ranked queues. Autofill makes you support and most people don't ever support, so when they get autofilled they most likely lose that game. I would rather wait five or more minutes than lose a game due to autofill.

Edit: I apologize for this complaint, as it is completely unnecessary.

over 50% of the time yes. Autofill is really bad for the game.

get over it and learn to play different roles, i have multiple champions for every role and can play them decently well, learn to fix problems and not complain about them

Issue with support is a symptom of a larger problem: champions that aren't any good at being damage dealers are not nearly as fun to play, and in fact, outside of high elo, can be really frustrating to play as, especially in solo que. Why? They have little ability to make individual plays that affect the course of the game. Sure, when they are with allies that have some actual game sense they can be formidable, especially in the hands of a good player. But that's a dependency that damage dealers don't really have, and more than that, many damage dealers still bring decent utility to the table. Which means that pure tanks and pure utility mages are increasingly being pushed out of viability (especially in lower elos). I'm not sure what the exact solution will look like, but something's gotta give for those archetypes so that they can have some ability to make individual plays (at least as a fallback from their preferred teamplay patterns).
