Just a normal 1 minute long cool down like any other and is extremely useful, particularly in comparison to what he has.
Edit: Honestly am puzzled to all hell why anyone would be against changing the useless ability that is phoenix stance. K he shouldn't have a proper ult whatever, but can he have a R that's worth something?

He doesn't really need more attack speed, he has enough. Regardless even that would be better then not having any ult at all as is the case.

He would be busted if he had a gap closer or something. Udyr is actually one of the strongest(if not THE strongest) stat check champs out there. He needs a rework tbh.

Wilyum1 votesThey don't give out cc immunity to high damage champs. Yi is not CC immune, you obviously didn't look it up or just have no idea what CC means, it includes stuns, roots, and suppression. Olaf is immune but he isn't high damage. His R isn't useless some people max R first.

Lauchmelder1 votesDon't kid yourself. Udyr effectively only ever had 3 abilities. It was either "ignore tiger stance" or "ignore phoenix stance". You never leveled both at the same time.

Pokemonred2002 votesPhoenix Stance was his strongest damage ability for almost six years. The main reason it's not that strong right now is because it got nerfed to shit when Runic Echoes was released in Season 6, and it takes too long to scale into relevancy as a result.
It still remained his most viable option until Tiger got reworked into its current state back in Season 7 as well.
With that in mind, giving it more general power/early game relevancy would go a long way for the stance. It has its place, it's just not the best fit for the current pacing of the game given it's a scaling AOE ability designed for bruiser-ish or full tank builds in a world where Udyr's better off being an early game menace and building more offensively than defensively.
On My Kill List1 votesi agree with you lately udyrs r has been kinda lackluster but that has more to do with itemization and jungle changes more then to the skill itself. also they might've put too much power budget on his tiger stance awhile ago. ( after its xth mini rework ) if riot really wants udyrs to use his phoenix stance more often they'd need to give it some other benefit then just faster aoe clear. i myself im not sure exactly what it is it needs in order to be used again. but the skill definetly needs some love.

He was supposed to have came from the mountains/wild, so why is it he can't go through trees/over rocks?
Should be one of the benefits of Bear Stance - since it does have a cooldown. Maybe expend 200% Mana on Bear stance to go over terrain.
While I'm at it...... How about expend 300% Mana cost Phoenix Stance to gain the ability to resurrect if you die at 25% HP, with a cooldown on the benefit of something like 300 seconds.
Those two changes would make Udyr really fun to play.
