Lee sin has a higher skill cap that many other champions, so when he is picked or banned many noobs will be playing him and bringing his win rate down, if he wasn't pick or ban, in theory his win rate would be higher O.O

but why do people wanna play him? his concept as a champ is cool and fun... and they get to be flashy and move around and dodge and "out play " people ... hence the popularity with alot of champs who have dashes ... ahri, ekko, lb, diana, camille, ez, so on and on people like that concept of game play.
so as long as he has those concepts in his kit and as long as he has decent #s on his abilities people are always gonna like and want to play the champ.
nunu has a higher win rate then lee... but people think he is boring , no fun, useless etc therefore he dont see the pickrate but nunu is a strong right now in this meta... and he is the #1 counter to ivern which people cry over even though his pick rate is about 5%

Fairyfleur1 votesSkill Cap isn't a Skill Floor. Lee Sin is strong to the point where anybody can play him and still do decently. But I guess you're right, if only his die-hard mains played him he would have a higher than average winrate, but even at this point his WR is still high for somebody with such a high playrate.

like i have a 58% win rate on maokai and a 83% win rate on nunu when maokai's over all win rate is sitting at 45.89% and nunu is 55.42%
so i have a win rate 13% higher then average on maokai and a win rate of 28% higher on nunu
