You can play her with a dippy bird aimed at your Q.

There is an argument that counters every "X champ is so easy" argument. It asks the following:

If X champ is so easy why are there so many bad X champ players?

The answer is because X champ is not actually that easy, and simply fits into a playstyle many people find to be easy. It has little to do with the champion itself. If you try to play a champion who is easy with a particular playstyle without being good at said playstyle you will find the champion very difficult to play.

Riven may be easy to play, I admit that but she was nerfed over and over. She's an easy to play champion, a VERY hard to master champion. This is coming from a riven no-lifer with 257ish games with her. Riven is definitely an easy pickup, but she takes time and practice to master. These are just my thoughts from playing Riven for a good amount of time.

I want to say that she takes skill and is hard to play but I find all champions in this game really easy so I would be lying.

However, as easy as I personally think Riven is, she is surprisingly harder than she looks. I see all the time Riven players who never weave auto attacks in between q's. Those same players sometimes steamroll and other players accuse the champion of being too easy. I find that really funny because they died to a Riven who didn't even utilize half her damage. What does that say about the player who lost to the bad riven?

In solo queue I have to face good rivens all the time and I know how to work around them and beat them. I would be ashamed to lose to a Riven who didn't know what their passive was. For reference I face diamonds in solo queue.

Honestly she's as broken as her blade. Diamond here and I've never thought any champ was really "op" except her. The mobility is insane so unless you stack snares/stuns on her, there's a very small chance you can catch her. In addition to her mobility, her scaling is quite ridiculous especially with that AD scaling shield.
My suggestion is: lower her base stats and increase the scaling. So this way, if she loses lane (if she does, she's out of the game), she'll still be able to bounce back. This will also give all the other top laners a fair chance at early game which is her forte. I've played many normals, never dared with rank, games with her and she is honestly one of the harder champs to get down. But frankly, the skill involved is neglected in lane due to the absurd early game strength. But that's just what I think.

Are people are still complaining about riven... She was nerfed pretty hard, but she can still snowball off of mistakes.

Logic 1: There are Diamond Riven-s. Logic 2: Riven is easy.

Therefore, everyone who plays Riven should be Diamond. But the fact that there are bronze, silver and gold Riven disprove the conclusion. Thus either (1) or (2) must be wrong :O

she just has so much mobility, makes for easy escapes and legendary sticking power.

That image clearly means a Xenomorph is on the loose at OP's house. Those bird things always attract them.

Riven and Rumble are very similar in how their kits fight Their main damages are AoE and tend to push lanes when they use it to trade. They both use a shield which scales off their desired damage stat (AP/AD) to make those trades favorable.

Rumble has better base damages, and can build more durable while Riven has lower bases and has to build more damage.

This results in Riven either stomping hard because more damage -> more kills -> more gold -> more damage

or

No durability -> more deaths -> no gold -> no threat

Additionally, Rumble has ranged wave farm Riven doesn't, if she's behind she has to farm under turret or risk dying to farm.

Riven was given an insanely powerful kit to offset her relatively few weaknesses, most of the time she can completely ignore her weaknesses which results in really poor gameplay. However, currently her weakness is valid with the current champion roster being played, so she won't be touched.
