Looking for a new main (wants suggestions)

So in this preseason i've been Decent at best. My previous mains from other seasons haven't proved successful to me recently. I used to play alot of shaco, riven. Yenno, champions that everybody hates.

Maybe its the runes, but i cant find success on those champions anymore. I have been enjoying champions like Shen, Ziggs and xerath recently and managed to hit Plat 4 then get demoted soon after.

So what im looking for is not necessarily easy win OP champs, but champs that after about 50 games you can really improve your skill with. I also want a champ that is fun to play

TLDR; Looking for a new main that is -Fun to play -Easy to learn -Hard to master -Not suffering during the preseason patches

I have mained Xerath in the past as well. If you like him you might like Jhin. Jhin is definitely easy to pick up but hard to master. He has multiple builds, and extra mechanics to learn as you get better with him. Added benefit, Jhin can be played both Mid and Bot. And lastly his kit is really satisfying to use.

Another champion with a low-ish skill floor but a high skill cap is Tahm Kench top lane. He has a variety of ways to use his abilities and his abilities are really satisfying to use.

Wukong suffers from being feast or famine, but his kit is fun to use. if you liked tricking people with Shaco then you might like using Wukong's W to outplay people. There are a lot of ways to use it and you can even just press 'S' to trick opponents into thinking you used it and then use it later for longer safety. Lotta mind-games to that.

Others I imagine would also fit your specs (but I don't play as much so I could be wrong) are Syndra, Lucian, Elise, Ekko, Warwick, Elise and Taliyah.

Kled Can take many different rune path from press the attack to electrocute. Can Split push and team fight, this guy an demolish is pretty good. Learning to remount (hit the tanks, if you can do so without getting focused by a carry, they probably can't kill you). Has some hard counters. other then the almost require Black clever, has many build options. Can catch people even after they flash without using yours. You can never ever absolutely, never be 100 - 0'd.

Warwick As a Warwick main i'm telling you, you'll love mastering him!

pros

-Amazing sustain -Lots of damage_ -Easy to play but hard to master -One of the most balanced champs in-game (confirmed by many posts on the boards regarding WW) -So fkn fun to play -Can also be played perfectly fine in top lane -Lifesteal out the ass

cons

-Mediocre skins (hopefully he'll get a skin this lunar event) -Useless against Extremely heavy CC team -Weak against some champs like Nocturne early game (lvl 1-3)

i looked at your op.gg and some champions that i have a lot of fun with that are similar are

camille and lissandra

also i have a very small champion pool

but yeah camille is similar to shen and she has that high skill cap while still being reletively easy to use i mean i wouldn't recomend ranked play with her until 20-30 games

and i just started playing lissandra and i love her a lot all ready, she is a bit more close range then ziggs and xerath though but still has decent poke

Sion He feels very satisfying to play. His kit does not seem very complicated when you start playing him, but there are a lot of subtle things you can do with him that make him hard to master. you can drift on edges of walls rather which allows you to change directions instead of crashing into them which can provide you to escape or engage options from unexpected areas. Learning to position the Q can take time to master as well since there are areas in nonbush fog of war that sion can hide in and still hit unexpecting enemy champions with it.

I’ll suggest Diana since I feel like she’s a real late game character you have to figure out how to survive before level 6 because you can get easily stomped in the early game if your not careful but once you get to 6 you can combo them down.
