Quick Cast

I am not sure if this is just a problem for me, but the new client has altered quick casting slightly and I am finding it slightly frustrating. Currently when you use an ability the target reticle will appear before it goes off. So if you play someone like Rengar and you use q the cone will appear and then it will cast. This slows down all of you casting. It seems to be even worse for targeted abilities like smite because unlike old quick cast you have to be perfectly on the target for it to hit.

Again I'm not sure if this is bothering anyone else but for me it makes everything feel clunky and slow. I am also not sure if this was planned or an unintended side effect of the new client, but I hope it can be fixed and reset to the old version were everything truly does cast instantly.
