is taric good?

Against heavy AD comps he isn't too bad.

Though his rework should be out in about two weeks or so in all likelihood. Be better to judge his power after that.

Depends, if you main Taric like me he is very strong, but you need to know his limits/cooldowns very well as his power level fluctuates a lot while fighting. Also he is getting reworked soon so the question is pointless. He is very strong both with and against ad comps and tanks though. One hard thing about him is that other than his ultimate which you always max as soon as possible, his skills can be maxed in different order depending heavily on match-up. Mechanically he is easy but building/leveling him requires a lot of number knowledge.
