Allow enemies to see yasuo's E mark on minions

I think one of the things that make yasuo so unfun to play against is his extreme mobility near minions, but it is also one of the core parts of the champion. So I was thinking that one way to make it more fair for the enemies would be to show the enemies the circle that shows yasuo can't dash through a minion for a few seconds (a modified version that doesn't stand out much). I believe this would give opponents a way to predict yasuo's movement, making it more fair for them, and maybe make it easier to balance the champion without taking away raw power.

It's a nice thought, but I doubt it will make a difference.

What makes Yasuo so scary is the person playing him. A good Yasuo player is fast and decisive, so if you're available for a trade he's gonna get you, and he's gonna do it really fast so you'll have very little time to react before he's safe n sound again.

Yes, theoretically this will give you those precious seconds where he can't dash through that one same minion again, but there are 6 minions in a no-cannon wave. And by the time he dashes through the 5th and 6th, the 1st and 2nd are ready to dash through again.

Another problem I see coming out of this is that this is what some call a "gateway". If we make this sort of visual changes for our opponents, how many other champions will now have to be considered for a similar change?

I think a nice way to take something out of this is to, instead of make it visible to our opponent, allow Yas to dash again through the same target in the time window but punish him for it with a much higher cooldown. This will separate the good players from the bad ones, and it will open a window for his lane opponents, and we'll call this window the "that's when Yasuo knew... he f*cked up" window.

I am not a pro and Im not in a high elo, but these are my opinions and thoughts:

All yasuos players below level 30 dash really slow and dont take advantage of a 0.1 second cooldown when its maxed. You only thinks it matters because you are laning against yasuo's who are beginners who dont take advantage of yasuos low resourceless cooldowns.(Unless you are against laggy yasuos) but regaredless....

If the mark is made visible for enemies on minions then there would also have to be marks shown on monsters and enemies. If its a blind pick game, then how would you know whos mark is on a monster. Making the mark visible to enemies would also give an unfair advantage to them. Enemies would know if there is a nearby yasuo and they would be able to also use it and trace yasuo. The visual cues should always be hidden from the enemies. The only possible way riot could allow visual cues are if they added bars under yasuos health bar. Just like Jhin, Annie, and Twisted Fate you are aware of what the next enemies attack could be.

But, it doesnt make sense to add a third bar to yasuo. Unlike other champions, a third bar is primarily shown to you so you would know what the next attack would be but its not to see cooldowns on abilitiy. Yasuo's "e" is resourcless, and has a low cooldown so there would be no point and no possible way to show minion cooldowns on yasuos "third bar". However, yasuo's "e" can stack damage with each dash but the damage is not suppose to feel like yasuo is doing more damage on an enemy when he stacks his "e" magic damage in contrast with a jhin who crits on his 4th consecutive aa. Since his ap stats for his "e" were nerfed early and late game, Its intended to help players farm waves faster in the early game.

In conclusion, making visual cue visible on yasuo for enemies would not be fair to all champions . If a visual cue does not affect the champions abilities but affects the way an enemy sees them that would give them an advantage, then riot would have to add visual cues on all the champions. It would be alot of confusing work because it also has to be color coded and sizes of each abilitiy would have to be different. Remeber when I said that the visual cues would just act likes wards? Exactly. There would be no point of wards. It is not fair to only add visible marks on yasuo just because you laned against him. League has a bunch of champions. You need to really understand most champions before suggesting a change that could be similar, or not fair when compared to other champs.

Another thing they should do as far as marking goes.. Is change the way **it is wearing off ** BECAUSE DUE TO FKING CIRCLE DECAYING AND ANGLES ITS HARD TO SAY WHEN YOU CAN E TO MINION / TARGET AGAIN.

So rather then Circle decaying.

Circle should shift colors

This along with your change would imrpove gameplay clarity

This would be awesome during the laning phase, but I feel like it would cause too much clutter unformation lategame. If you do this for Yasuo, people will ask similar things for other champions and you end up having a shitload of marks around.

I think Yasuo is one of those champions that you just need to have played yourself to be able to face him. Mhm maybe I should buy him someday...

Barley7/31/2017, 5:10:27 PM3 votes

Riots too lazy to do that.

maybe make it easier to balance the champion without taking away raw power.

Implying Yasuo is OP or even Meta currently, Hahaha.

Mecha Incognito7/31/2017, 6:14:27 PM3 votes

I don't know if it's going to help all that much, might even be a hindrance by being visual clutter, especially if the champion you're playing has indicators like it too. It'd be OK but I don't think it's something RIOT would do any time soon.

Sun Wu Ryuumoku7/31/2017, 9:38:22 PM3 votes

no need :

  • i don't want any useless thing on my screen
  • tracking enemy move is a skill. And u should focus on it
  • stop casualizing this game more.
inuitmailman7/31/2017, 6:54:45 PM3 votes

If this is a thing then we should be allowed to see what walls talon has jumped over

Engelin8/1/2017, 4:38:47 AM3 votes

Doesn't want people to see his main's rank lol

PePsiLemoNN7/31/2017, 9:20:19 PM2 votes

E's all minions so you can't see hp bars of minions you want to kill :^)

Nøstalgia7/31/2017, 5:48:30 PM2 votes

Good idea, even though would people even use this to their advantage in lower elos ?

MoonTrigger7/31/2017, 7:42:25 PM2 votes

good idea

TheRossJanitor7/31/2017, 8:07:47 PM2 votes

Wow, this is actually an amazing idea. Good job, buddy!

Upvote so Riot can see.

I agree firmly with this as a person who has played as and against yasuo extensively.

TyroneWatermelon7/31/2017, 11:13:39 PM1 votes

A lot of these threads were made over the years and everyone of them has a large number of upvotes, and usually a Rioter replies explaining that it would cause too many clarity issues and information on the screen.

Project omen7/31/2017, 8:50:31 PM1 votes

Many others have also suggested this but Riot stated that they won't do that and has explained that it would be too taxing for the server.

Akali is SO HOT8/3/2017, 11:45:04 PM1 votes

Riot said they thought about doing it, but decided not to because it would cluster up your screen too much and be too distracting.

sure, why not :)

General Esdeath 7/31/2017, 7:46:09 PM1 votes

I'm on the fence because it's kind of easy to track, but I know that took me a year of playing him to get down, and it's one of those things like timing jungle camps that Riot made the system do to help players.

martincastillo28/1/2017, 10:17:47 PM1 votes

you can actually see the mark if you press on the minion, at the top left corner, when it displays the minions stats, where the buffs and stuff would be, there you can see yasuo's e recast cd

Evil Yasuo8/2/2017, 6:55:11 AM1 votes

It'd probably look kinda cluttered. I'd prefer to not see it tbh.

Ðelofasht7/31/2017, 11:28:06 PM1 votes

Okay, visual clutter would be a thing, good suggestion though it may be. What about making his dash have a much longer CD, but be reset anytime his Q hits an enemy, W is used, or R is activated. Whole kit should be focused around making him mobile, not just one skill that he spams over and over.
