Is jax still good? I might want to purchase him. I play all 5 roles and I don't prefer any one type of champion. My 5 most played champions are Rek'sai, Katarina, Yasuo, Kindred, and Rengar. As you can see it's pretty diverse.

No, he's trash. You might think he's good because he soft counters Irelia(who is super OP right now) but she's banned so often that you'll never even get the chance to counterpick her.

It is now. Kit-wise jax has an advantage but Irelia's numbers are just so much better atm that it becomes much more even.

Just like most melee toplaners, he has skill matchups against a lot of melee toplaners like Irelia Darius Yasuo ...

And he gets hard countered to the point you are completely useless the first 35 minutes vs ranged bullies like Graves Gnar Cassiopeia

Jax is still powerful, although he is the kind of guy to get more powerful as a fight goes on.

He hasn't been touched by Rito's Nerf Hammer so yes, he is still pretty powerful in Top and Jungle. It looks like you main bursty champions, so Jax may or may not be for you depending if you like dueling and drawn out fights.

hes shit in team fights. so if your gonna split push. don't do it in low elo please. my most played champion. can win the 1v1 but quite frankly i can't do much in team fights as a melee carry. i can do more with darius or a any tank and still do well in lane. and jax early game is terrible. if rageblade was still op. then i'd recommend him in jungle. with the old devoure. he used to be able to go 1v3 and win. can't do it nowdays tho
