thinking that a champion can't be countered makes you lose.

[1] Get MR and health to avoid dying to her early. Some good options:

  • Flat MR Glyphs, Scaling Health Seals (Standard rune page against magic damage)
  • item 1056 item 3027 item 3116 item 3001 item 3155 item 3060 item 3028

[2] Ward up and call MIAs so that she can't get kills by roaming. This isn't fool-proof and relies on teammates having some map awareness, but this is something you should be doing every game anyways.

[3] Position correctly. If you are a ranged champion and can farm with abilities, you should be able to avoid a decent chunk of her damage (especially if she has to W into range to QE you). If you are a melee champion, you should try to retaliate whenever she attacks you since she has to get into melee-range for a large chunk of her damage).

[4] Don't get caught alone late-game. If you let yourself get picked off, you are at fault (for lack of map awareness, warding, or ability to track your opponents).

If you don't feed her or let her pick people off, she falls off really hard come teamfights.

The best way is to try and avoid her poke and play safe, she drops hard without kills

her W has a long CD. In lane, when you get her to wiff it, harass the fuck out of her, She is among the squishiest champs in the game, and unlike others she doesn't typically build RoA (Siv HD not withstanding) to compensate either.

Play Syndra or Yasuo

Arakadia1 votes

I know Syndra counter's LB, but I'd think Lb would be able to dodge her spells and out mobile Syndra. I'd just like to know Syndra counters LB. Can u explain.

Michael Sykes1 votes

Syndra's spells are not extremely easy to dodge. I would say it is more a skill matchup in favor or Syndra

  • Syndra can safely harass LB with Q's from a safe enough range that LB can't bully her like she does everyone else.

  • Syndra's E counters' LB's Dashs, so When LB comes to JUMP her, you can knock her back before she even hits you.

  • Syndra's Ulti is point and click, so the damage can't be avoided even by her Passive. iIt will still target the real LB.

Ok thanks

yasuo does not counter leblanc. it is a skill matchup and leblanc has the advantage.

yasuo does not counter leblanc. it is a skill matchup and leblanc has the advantage.

I understand Yasuo is a popular champion so a lot of bads play him, but no. It is a skill matchup in favor of Yasuo. Your Windwall Blocks 80% of her burst and you control the lane with your better resources, low CD's and wave clear as well as your more prevalent mobility, as well as your free shield for walking. The only way LB will even come close to having the advantage is if you are one fo those plebs that does nothing but throw tornados til 6 all lane phase.

Ruin Lance1 votes

i have 700k mastery with yasuo and i've played this matchup countless times. his shield can be popped easily by a basic attack, his wind wall is on a 26 second cooldown, and waveclearing to the leblanc's tower is really not a big advantage unless yasuo plans on just farming the entire laning phase. leblanc is also extremely good at following up on jungler ganks, and also roaming herself. compared to yasuo, he cannot follow up or engage a roam unless he has a 3rd q or the person ganking for him has a knockup. even then, leblanc has 2 dashes to escape, and a flash if she hasn't already used it.

also i just want to point out that half of your "argument" wasn't even an argument, it's just throwing out random stuff that has no meaning. example, "you control the lane with your better resources" lol what's that even supposed to mean? reminds me of those people who say "your adc positioning is bad." most of the time that statement has literally no meaning, and people only say it to pretend like they know what they are talking about.

The easiest way us buy some Mr and farm safely for 15 min, and watch her start galling off without kills

Brand wins every trade against Leblanc unless you get hit by her E. Which is your fault.

As with other champions, you should pick a counter to her. Of course it will be hard when your opponent counterpicks you. In the case you play a champ that is hardountered by lb (i.e. Viktor) you should ban her. When you are able to counterpick her, there are some champions Diana works very well. When the opponent picks lb before me (I am a lb main and know her very well), she is my strongest pick. Diana has her w to counter lb's harrass. After 6 she is easily able to outtrade her. After two items you can burst lb without issues, your burst is aoe, so you won't have problems with her passive. Zed is still a good pick against her, but you have to know how he works (and he is banned very often). When you main Anivia, she is an awesome pick. She has so much utility that lb hardly can do anything. Of course you should have skill with Anivia.

Because you are lvl 21 I would highly recommend Diana. She is easy to play, makes some fun, has good skins and a well teamfighting for an assassin if you manage to play around your ult resets.

You don't let her get fed. You call mia the second you cant see her. If she doesnt get fed she will be a burden to her team.

Eclipse Leona2 votes

she mostly uses her W to either close the gap or Poke, if you go all-in she'll use W/Flash to get away. if she uses W first she'll probably either Poke massively or have so much burst that she 2/3 shots you (W+ult+E+Q)

all I know is keep close like a friggin' mosquito or wait until you have alot of burst yourself.

Divine Winds1 votes

Keep close? So like.. Yasuo

cc? idfk

CR4ZYRONDH4VI1 votes

cc, or for example when i play azir i build a negatron cloak first to eliminate the one shot and then i take exhaust to further stop her kill pressure.

If it's cc, would Elise's E work?

  1. play safe (as in don't give her kills, ever)
  2. build MR
  3. wait till mid/late game

Congrats, you have just make that person's purpose of picking LB kind of useless.

Hmmmm I'm afraid you can't destroy her no. The best that you can do is go even with this champion. At least most mislaners out scale

Diana -shield negates LB's burst. Diana's all in is better than hers too. If her passive procs when you go in on her, just simply click her, see which clone has items, and ult her again. Bam dead.

There is no counter to LB. She's a champ with zero risk high reward. The best thing is to just ban her.

Pre-6 all of LeBlanc's kit is fairly telegraphed and easy to predict. Respect her level 2 power-spike from her Q -> W (pretend she is like a Blitzcrank, stay out of her zone while baiting her combo, wait for her to get greedy, and punish when she's on cool-down or mispositioned)

Also, remember that because of LeBlanc's clunk-like burst, some champions can stall laning phase by shoving waves under her turret, and making it a farm lane (which does not go in LeBlanc's favor).

Once LeBlanc hits level 6, she will most likely be able to trade safely with you, depending on the matchup. However, at this point you should also be able to clear waves fast, and just like I stated before, push her under turret and force her to use her ultimate to farm. At this point her roaming is the only thing to worry about, which can be handled with some good map awareness and helpful pings to your teammates.

In the Mid-Late game, even without kills LeBlanc can still burst down you or another squishy if you are mispositioned. Respect her burst and mobility, and force her to take more risks into your teammates by staying somewhat grouped.

Hope this helps!
