Teaser of the new support?

According to the law, tomorrow the Friday we will get a teaser of this new champion then next week when 8.10 comes in PBE, we can see totally what the new champion is right?

Here's hoping! I'd love to see a very low damage, high skillcap ranged CC specialist. Like a Bard or Anivia but with much less damage than either, yet more durable.

From what I gathered, I think it's actually some super killy type support, maybe like Brand or Zyra but actually designed to be a support from the start.

In the roadmap they say they are "executing" a new support champion who "saves allies but drowns enemies" and to "keep your HP high" so it seems like the champ will have some sort of aggressive execute type ability at least. Bard is my favorite support of all time though so if they made it like him there will be no complaints from me.

the game totally needs a new support when they can't even balance the ones they have already or their newest cash grab kaisa which oh look is pick or ban in high elo every game

There was a mini-teaser in a video advertising some LCS thingie, I don't know anything about that stuff so I'm not sure what it's for. Face in the water in the background in one shot. Just came out so it should be spammed on the boards in a mo.

It's a support. They flat out said that the next champion is a support. It's 100% confirmed, no chances involved.

Actually with all their talk about trying to allow champions to function in more than one role (2+), chances are this new champion might be tailored to that end in addition to support.

8.10 is part of the midseason changes; I seriously doubt they'll want to release a champion so close to such a pivotal point in the games history, let alone during it.

I agree it will be pretty unlikely since the big midseason patch is up next, but Meddler did say they would be spreading out the bot changes over several patches. Maybe the mid season won't be as big so a new champ could be thrown in there? Or maybe the new champ won't function without the bot lane changes going through because of how they are shaking things up?
