LOL Wolrd Map (Upgraded!!)

Hello, guys. 3 months ago, I posted a fan-made map by me , but then I realised that it was not perfect or accurate.

Old one:

https://i.imgur.com/cwrzRNo.jpg

Therefore, I modyfied some parts to present it better.

Two main changes:

  1. Ionia should be smaller.(changed)

  2. Southern Continent should be bigger, as a continent full of anciente civilizations, such as Targon, Shurima, Icathia.

Take a look.

Entire Map: https://i.imgur.com/0QzBxY3.jpg

Southern Continent (modifed):

BTW, if you want an original map with 37M, I can send you in email.

And, I add " Unknown Lands extending toward the south" for more mysterious spaces

Icathia is actually beside the sea, according to the new lore.

In addition, I modified the south freljord

Hope rioters can make comments for more information, hahahahahahah.. XD*[katarina-love]*

Hello again, My Fizz no ult! Lovely map work as always :D

(The seasonal attack of the Black Mist from the Shadow Isles, on to Bilgewater is called "The Harrowing" in English, by the way. Though I do think that Soul Eating Night is a great name too :D)

I'm fascinated by the changes you've made between the two versions of your map. I see that Ionia has been made smaller, and the jungle areas and the Shuriman and Icathian areas have been separated by a mountain range. Do you have any reasons why you made those changes, or did they just feel more right to you?

Also, the addition of the Unknown Lands is interesting. Always good to have room to expand, of course, but I'm sure I won't be the only player wondering what you imagine might be down there. New nations? Champions? What do you think? :)

Beautiful work though. I'm still looking forward to your reaction when we finally get the Riot version out there.

I think its kind of interesting where you placed everything. on the OG map everything is on 1 continent and its all crammed up next to each other. Yours gives a much better representation of where things would actually lie.

3 things bother me about this map though.

1 Bandle city isnt on it (or im just blind)

2 The proximity of bilgewater to the shadow isles. its really fucking close. Now that could be because you dont wanna make the map gigantic, but i was under the impression it was quite the journey to get there.

3 In the lore isnt Zaun right underneath Piltover. I thought they were vertical. Cause There is the story of how the boy rode essentially an elevator up to Piltover. Now in the OG map Zaun was across the bay, but I think they changed the lore on that.

Why did you move Ireland to the east of Great Britain?

That first island (on the top) looks like the map from Game of thrones lol

I only saw this one as an outline! Wow, color and texture makes this amazing!

Also, my phone can’t get great resolution in this. Where is Mt. Targon? I think I see it, but that could be the demacian symbol :/ if someone could give a coastline/general area it’s near that’d be great.

Guess I'm missing something, but shouldn't Targon be on Valoran? Taric was exiled there, and that story made it look like it was located somewhere on the Demacian-Frelyord border.

Great map btw.

South Unknown lands be like old Earth maps when they did the "Here be dragons" thing cause they didnt knew what was located in that specific area cause they havent explored it yet.

Im not a big fan of the neck part of Valoran where Demacia, Noxus and the Freljord are joined/ divided by the Iron Spike Mountains. I would have assumed that the "neck" would be a lot wider and more expansive. It's just that Noxus holds domain of Iron Spike, as well as parts of south Freljord (although to what extent is undisclosed) and having two different enemies in general focused and condensed around the north of Demacia seems like a weak point that would have been taken advantage.

Also, I said this last time and was late to respond then as well. The central Noxian landscape is lush green on your map. We all know the environment around there is nothing but arid badlands and dust bowls. Surely the map should convey it with large patches of brown, like Australia from satellite view.

2 things. Nami was originally meant to be from the Guardian Sea. Has their tribe been moved, is this mentioned in lore? Or is the Guardian Sea still near the Mount Targon (again mentioned in lore)?

Second, based on the idea that there is 'Unknown Lands', is 'Runeterra' much like Ivalice from FF or Thedas from Dragon Age? Their 'World' is just part of a greater planet, it might not even be the majority.

I have a rather hard request, is it possible to list the source of the names used on the map? there are few of them that i dont remember where they were from like the name of the seas, it would be a good reference for the story as well. to learn where these names were mentioned.

if not then thank you regardless, you did an outstanding job on this!
