Definitely not. That build is just horrid.

I would recommend something along the lines of:

  • Masteries: 18/12/0 (Fervor of Battle)

  • Runes: 1 Armor + 2 Attack Speed Quints, Flat or Scaling Health Seals, Flat MR Glyphs, Attack Damage Marks

Items: item 1038 item 3085 item 3006 (item 3031 or item 3508) (item 3072 or item 3153 or item 3139) (item 3036 or item 3033 ) (item 3026 or item 3102 or item 3143 or item 3512 )

it stacks Q like 6 times right? and that every time Q hits an enemy it heals you? on top of that i think Q counts for basic attacks so even if they build armor you're stilling doing a small amount of magic damage from the passive of nashoors, manamura, and guinsoos? wouldnt that be good enough for melting opponents? it practically permaslows your opponent and any 1v1 scenario where you've landed your R no matter what you'll win. or am i wrong?

Ashe's only AP scaling is on her ultimate, so the AP on Nashor's Tooth and Rageblade are just wasted.

Ashe's only physical damage ability is her Volley. The vast majority of her damage is solely from autoattacks, so Bloodthirster is far better for sustain and durability.

Boots of Swiftness aren't bad, but an extra 10 MS probably isn't worth losing 35% Attack Speed on an ADC.

Ashe's mana costs aren't high enough to require Manamune. While she will run out of mana when spamming W, using it more conservatively (or just purchasing Essense Reaver) is all of the mana sustain required. Also, rushing Tear of the Goddess would kinda cripple her early-game damage for little real benefit.

on top of that i think Q counts for basic attacks

While I'm not sure exactly what you mean by this, I believe you may be misunderstanding her Q. While it turns an autoattack into multiple damage-applications, each autoattack will only apply on-hit effects once.

The only item really affected by her Q is Black Cleaver since stacks of its passive are applied with each instance of physical damage.

If you need to look up basic champion builds, I would generally recommend checking Champion.gg or Probuilds.net. While they are situational, they give you a good starting point.

i chose nashoors to make her R more powerful while also getting that extra 50% attack speed. in a way it's an alternate form of static shiv or firecannon that doesnt require you to move or attack a certain amount of times to get the bonus magic damage on your basic attacks.

i chose rage blade because i was thinking that it would double up her passive slows. i honestly dont know if it works that way but if it does then that means i can get stacking attack speed and ap/ad per basic attack which would also increase my nashoors on hit magic damage and then deal more damage with her passive because it would apply twice as well as applying shock and awe twice maybe.

her Q and W are both physical i think. the damage on her Q gets converted into healing for every volley and her W gets converted for 5% for every arrow that hits with deaths dance. since her passive is also physical damage after the initial application of frost shot's slow it then heals for every application afterwards which would be increased because of guinsoos. the bleed effect lets you outlast an opponent who is trying to lifesteal you long enough for you to finish your volley of Q

with 30% cooldown reduction from nashoors and deaths dance her Q is always up allowing constant spam of it. it's relatively inexpensive if you dont have any cooldown but once you start using your Q every 4 seconds it eats your mana alive. not to mention when you build manamune into muramana due to the rapidfire of her Q and runaans you can convert it to muramana pretty quickly allowing for additional physical damage procs every time you activate shock - which should be constant because she doesnt have any abilities other than her Q that drain mana and her Q gives way more mana back in return for its use due to awe

due to the doubling effect of guinsoos runaans should be applying every on hit effect 6 times as long as there are 3 enemies nearby. idk if that's how it works or not but that's what im guessing. so everything should be happening 6 times every basic attack during her Q.

boots of swiftness give the most movement without stipulation for running away. it also reduces slowing effects so you can out slow an opponent and continue kiting even if they slow you first.

I don't mean to be insulting, but the build is just objectively bad.

While you can feel free to use it, I would not recommend doing since it is suboptimal. If you want to win games and climb through the rankings, you should focus on building champions correctly to improve your odds.

does it work the way i described it? was anything about what i described wrong?

Rageblade doesn't double-up her passive slows since slows don't stack (only the strongest one applies). The only way to increase the strength of her passive slow is to build critical strike chance.

Her passive's bonus damage isn't treated any differently than an autoattack, so it would work with lifesteal just as well. Death's Dance is probably the least efficient sustain item for her.

Bloodthirster provides more raw sustain and a shield before fights (letting you survive the initial burst better). Blade of the Ruined King synergizes with Runaan's Hurricane to deal more damage to multiple targets and provides a burst-heal active. Mercurial Scimitar provides the ability to remove CC, which can let you survive and avoid abilities which may kill you or do more damage before you die.

Essense Reaver also provides 30% CDR, critical strike chance (for her passive) and mana sustain. This lets you get the CDR and sustain far earlier in the game and synergizes better with Runaan's Hurricane.

The bolts of Runaan's Hurricane are an on-attack effect rather than an on-hit effect. As such, Rageblade won't double-up the bolts fired (though bolts will apply on-hit effects twice).

Also, Rageblade doesn't apply on-hit effects twice with every attack. After it has been fully stacked, every second attack will apply on-hit effects twice (basically, 1.5x applications instead of 2x)

hmm... i'd like to test it out.

i felt like i was clearing waves easier/ destroying buildings faster/ killing targets sooner with that build than a standard damage build.

Oh boy... would really like to suggest to you sites like lolking.net or champion.gg as they've got build information for every champ. Also read some guides on your desired champ.

The one you posted is not really good. You should never build nashor's on ashe; it's an AP item and she's AD. Also there's not IE/ER and no BT. Also it lacks armor pen, which as an ADC she needs. Manamune is pretty much an EZ and Urgot item only.

There's 2 types of ADCs. The first type is AA champs. They want to build stuff like IE, hurricane, BT, and a last whisper upgrade. Ashe is an AA style ADC. Then you've got casters like lucian or jhin. They want flat armor pen items like duskblade or youmuu's.

i dont like those sites because they're boring and the builds while some are efficient lack creativity and you'll see things by players that say they're diamond or challenger but when you try to look them up they're invisible on every site except op.gg because they dont want you to see that they're barely even in their league. some of the same builds are posted by low level players days before and they get completely ignored. it's just very upsetting and i'd rather not be a supporter of such websites.

literally the top players build on lolking.net is a 6.18 build - if you scroll down you'll see that same build by a gold player and a platinum player that just got completely ignored - and the player has a 45% win rate with ashe and they're barely even in their diamond games. in fact it looks like they've pretty much quit playing to keep from falling back down to platinum and are just riding the wave of declining lp out for as long as they can.

so while it's easy to say that that players knowledge of the game is substantially better than mine or that the site is just responding to the community im just not impressed. it doesnt take diamond or challenger tier to realize that if you stack the highest damage items you'll end up with a lot of damage. im looking for something better than that and those sites arent going to give me it.

even the guy who replied up above responded with the most basic build i've ever seen. i realize you guys are platinum but is that seriously the best you can do in terms of creating a build? or is it just that this game is so limited that there is no wrong answer to bloodthirster ashe?

Most of the time, when a build becomes popular, it's because someone in korea figured out how to make it work in ranked.

Ashe is an auto attacker, so she needs a traditional ADC build. Her passive needs as much crit as possible. She doesn't build enough AP or have enough AP scaling to justify Nashors. Only kayle, teemo, and diana get that one regularly. She doesn't have any magic pen either so that extra damage is just going to bounce off of a tank's MR. She can't really stack manamune efficiently, so it's wasted on her (if you need mana ER is so much better on Ashe). The build has no armor pen so it's going to be useless against any tank. Ashe isn't an AD caster so BT would be better on her than death's dance. ADC ragebalde builds typically want bloodrazor and bork for the on hit effects. However you've got hurricane so it's going to be a little harder to build up to rageblade's passive with it.

BTW, you generally want heal on an ADC, teleport is more for top, mid, or the rare jungler.

so the final verdict is... she's very limited. gotcha. do me a favor and try my build anyway once or twice for giggles and tell me how it goes for you if you wouldnt mind. just use it in normals or bots. let me know when you've tried it. i'd at least like to have your overall opinion after you've ran it through a few minion waves.

edit

just so you can make your mastery page identical to mine here's the build

under ferocity in max stacks it's 1 2 2 1 1 2 under cunning in max stacks it's 1 3 under resolve in max stacks it's 1 1
