Riot Should give Master Yi some cc

title says it all, riot should buff yi and make him immune to cc like what zac kinda has or give yi some cc. Any thoughts on this?

I notice you make a lot of posts on this forum. I play lots of Vladimir as well.

You should consider adding me for some Normals games and if we meet we could scrimmage in Norms (just for fun). Always fun to see alternate styles of Vladimir play.

This is not the way to buff Yi. His main weakness right now is that despite doing insane amounts of damage, one CC and its all over. You take his main weakness away and he is going to become so godly it is unreal.

No to both.... both would be beyond broken for Yi to have.

Though his W always irritates me, its either kind of useless vs a team with any cc, and completely broken in some cases where they don't have CC. It would be cool to trade in some of the raw % damage reduction for some brief tenacity.. that way whilst in W he will still get knocked out of it and stunned or whatever, but will at least be rewarded with a shorter CC'ed duration by using W to negate its effects.

Just a thought.. Though I don't think he really needs buffs, he seems fine as he is.

Misleading title too. But Yi does need a rework, his kit has very little to play against other than "press him with cc" or "stay the fuck away". That's not really counterplay. His kit is also bland and does nothing other than killing people.

A well-timed Alpha Strike will effectively give him immunity to CC (and damage).

I mean yes, he does kind of need a built in cc. Any champion without one has been (and is) a balance issue. You can't really give him one though in the current iteration of his kit because he is balanced to function without it, and has no ability to effectively put it on anyway.

Please do not compare Yi to Zac, they aren't remotely the same. Yi is a hyper carry that deals too much dmg for no reason, while Zac is a tank with good engage and good CC.

If your going to compare him with anybody at least do so with Tryndamere or perhaps Jax. They're both hyper scaling melee champs with no CC immunities either. Sure Trynd can slow, and Jax can stun, but they do not get a huge MS+AS buff with slow immunities and being capable of becoming untargetable.

Yi deals damage based on the items he gets. Blame riot for buffing death dance and any other ad items.

Imagine yi building like illaoi or maokai it wouldn't work out or be as efficient as the damage items.
