Why you should quit ranked games

1)If you aren't naturally talented at the game and get stuck at a tier, don't struggle to climb because you won't 2) It eats up all of your spare time and time that could've been utilized for more important things; All that while making you feel courageous when you look at your tier in the profile page and giving you those petty thoughts you will actually climb one day. 3)It's a team game-> Even if you win;You lose.Don't get me wrong I win no more than 0% of the lanes I play in so no brag in there but what usually happens is one team gets a huge lead having only the turrets before inhib to take to get in their base but the other team always turns it around.Don't question it! Experience. 4)I feel sad for each and every one of us addicted and obsessing over getting to that tier because we actually waste time losing most of the games we play in.So the next time you feel like queueing up because you feel yourself, just don't! And I guarantee you,you won't be disappointed. 5)Ranked games crush your morale completely.Ever had those losing streaks that bring you back to 0LP? Yeah, most people do.The difference is,if you're diamond or above you actually understand the game and can end the streaks fairly easier than the scrubs that are below Diamond (Including the scrub which is me),which leads you to tilt and just be defeatist in your next games! Now some tips: 6)Never play support! Your only options are Top,Mid,Jungle and adc.The next time you gaze at that lulu/sona/braum icon in champ select just turn around and question your life choices. The answer is simple, just don't! What poor and tormented soul picks support anyway? (Except me) 7)If the enemy team has premades and yours doesn't,know you're almost halfway to losing.Yeah, some people will lunge at me for this but it's only the truth.Premades usually coordinate much better than that braum supp who ults and goes in while his team sits there 8)Don't listen to anyone who says you will climb. Why?! You'll ask.Because,it is possible, but it will take months and months of losing, throwing won games and driven to complete insanity. It's a demoralizing experience I do not recommend at all. "Hey the idea of a victorious Leona skin sounds awesome! I'll go for gold this season" No,you don't simply get to gold V.Just don't! 9)If you're stuck in silver don't expect to advance any time soon

So there you have it,I dunno if you take this as a rant,I just say what I've learnt after about 3 months of playing ranked for the first time,my placements put me in bronze III in 3v3's I'm sitting at silver III at the moment,Silver V in 5v5 flex. What I really wanted was not to go for challenger and stuff but just Gold V so I can get the victorious skin for this season.I'd quit ranked after.I would go for a boost because I don't give a damn about pride and stuff since I'm like 3 divisions below gold but then I can't afford it.Oh well do you agree or oppose to me quitting?

Reasons TO play ranked-

  1. Normals is mediocre
  2. Free skins.

  1. I don't climb currently but I like it better if people try to win. In normal I feel .That's why I ranked, not for the prestige.
  2. I play just as much ranked as I would play normals otherways.
  3. I play for fun and competition, I am more then willing to lose ranked games and I don't feel that I hold my team back with this attitude. I like this game and
  4. again refering to point 3.
  5. yup just had one, if you play for fun with a competitive spirit this should at best mildly annoy you(which it did).
  6. I play support if I feel like it, but yes carrying from support is really difficult. This is also the case in normal games
  7. yup, that is why I sometimes play with premades...
  8. I don't care about climbing, I just like playing the more competitive version, climbing is a fun side reward.
  9. I don't

My point isn't that you are wrong, my point is that everybody has his own reasons to play or not to play ranked. So for me I disagree with your reasons to not play ranked. So I respectfully disagree with your opinion.

I don't play rank to climb. I play rank because I like the role selection and I would like to think people take the game a little more serious.

I don't play Ranked because I don't play games dictated by stat checks competitively.

THERE, I SAID IT.

Its the reason I primarily stick to fighting games and stay away from competitive Pokemon as well.

If you are good enough you can carry your whole team, the skill involved is relative to the tier you're in. I hard carried through silver and gold this season when I use to not be able to even hard carry consistently carry through silver. And every lane can carry, even support, but for support you have to get a high pick champion to carry in solo queue.
