why the hell are they letting ranked placements go on? I feel this game is boarder-lined unplayable atm. Some of the new assassin updates are nice but really need adjusted (looking at you rengar). Games are much more laggy (god forbid if you like to play skillshot champs) but still havent seen any feedback from riot about the data or input others are putting in about gameplay.

I dont even want to touch ranked games until NEXT season at this point.

ps. the new jungle sucks ballz. only nice thing is the vision "pollen" plant. They need to reduced smites timer by a lot to fix the jungle.[slayer-pantheon-rainbows]

This is preseason.

Ranked games mean nothing at the moment aside from a slight MMR adjustment when the reset occurs.

Because it is a beta. And the rankings will be reset when the ranked season starts.

This is generally the way preseason goes, and it is why the current ranked results will only have a slight influence on your placement for when season 7 starts. Your placement will still be heavily dependent upon your season 6 results, with season 7 preseason results playing a small role into determining whether you go up or down a little bit more than you would have without playing preseason.

yes and that is true, but i don't think we have had this much chaos in the previous pre-seasons.

Jungle is in chaos (Again)
Assassin changes causing chaos
ADC still seem to be too powerful atm
Ranged champions still have no downside vs melee champs
Mastery system changing and bringing out new problems for the moment (colossus COUGH)
The game just seems to spiral out of control too fast, realizing at 15 min that there have been 30+ deaths in game
champions that were already weak seem to stay irrelevant minus specific changes.

I just feel there is too much change this preseason, and personally will probably take a break from league, i can't enjoy top lane anymore, bot is too win or lose, mid is just who has the better damage burst, and jg is just out of whack right now. Idk could just be me, but these are my thoughts.

I think we have short memories. Season 6 pre-season everyone was screaming that ADs were going to take over, and you consistently saw people play AD top, AD mid as well as AD bot as normal during the preseason. It was a weird time to be playing, so much so that I, like you currently, did not play during the preseason and it ended up making me change games and not really play league all that much in season 6.

Season 5 preseason I believe is when they changed the way the map looked? Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this is when that change took place. It led to some imbalances on the maps that had to be corrected and just some generally wonkiness.

In reality, the preseason IS a beta, and Riot has generally done well in the past to smooth it all out by the time the new season starts.
