Feel it would be nice if all that the vlad mains rallied behind a post to let riot know what we think should be kept, tossed and over all what we feel is OUR vladimir. SO first a little intro, I have been playing since aatrox released and ww and vlad were my first 2 mains. (werewolf and not-so-vampire figures) Now i was really into sustain or "refusing to give in" as i called it. No matter how much dmg i took I'd come back. You nuke me? Give me a minion wave and I'll comeback form it. Now what got me was itemization. I built life steal on both vlad and ww when i first started out. (ad vlad op eh? called VAMPIRIC sceptre after all) Now it worked great with ww and worked great with his passive, When i learned what ap was i built some of that but realized there was only 1 (maybe 2 if you count visage) item that supported my fantasy as a undying monster that took all you could serve and if built or played right could still stand, for me Vlad doesn't have to be a burst mage or a dps mage he just has to be someone who can weather the storm and stay in the game. His blood should run so long as his foe's blood does too.

Now the most obvious weakness is his immobility, seeing how I want him to be something like a sustain mage he doesnt have to be fast, nor do I think he should have anything thing considered "Long range" instead he should probably keep close to the range he has right now on live.

passive- I like it, it drives home that hp and ap are dualy important on him. I'm open to a new one but it should probably reinfore his ened for that hybrid instead of making him "Just hp" or "just ap"

q- I've heard the issues with q and it's true there's no reason not to use it whenever it's up and I can't think of an easy fix. But it's iconic and probably best exemplifies what vlad should be thematically. Definitely see if you can try and add some complexity and greater rewards (%HP healing i feel would be alot better then the current flat amount) but his q should definately read something along the lines of "deal dmg to a foe and heal yourself"

w- pretty solid move and probably necessary to make up for his low mobility. Only thing I think is dmg could be improved, it's silly how fizz's invulnerability is allowed to be a nuke when he's super mobile yet vlad is only given a wimpy dps (which i'm sure many of us know many enemies will happily tank to beat you up after) it honestly could be redone in other ways i suppose but again kinda iconic and should be something along the lines of "vlad transforms into blood and does x while being untargetable for x seconds. (Perhaps he turning into some slicing maelstrom of blood before recollecting himself, healing for% dmg dealt?

e- the throw away ability, the one that's probably least likely to be kept and that okay. But unless your going to make hp costs a real and ppresent thing for his other abilities this should be the ability that plans him firmly as a p resource user, The thing I never like about his current he is it dint REALLY feel like here was any tide to it. I stack it 4 times and so long as there's a minion or 2 the hp cost is negligeble. What it should do to me is show the REAL tides of battle. When Vlad gets lower in hp he grows more desperate, but he doesn't give up, he tries harder clinging all the more harder on his craft and teachings. again perhaps this is where you could stick a %missing hp heal for the sake of running the whole healing himself as he kills you thing all 9 yards but definately would like to feel like this would be the comeback move that should be times right,

r- honestly i like it but I def think there could be a bunch of other things that could further fullfill the whole "bloodmage thing" but I'd prefer it to keep some of it's teamfight utility.

What you guys think about vlad? What do you want kept, what do you love bout him? hate bout him? what do you want to see scrapped?

The problem is that this pattern simply isn't balance-able. If you shrug off anything your opponent does to you, then why should they even bother trying? Then the entire lane phase just devolves into a cs fest instead of what is supposed to be a competitive game.

What if his Q had no cost, heals himself, but he takes bonus damage the higher you level it up?

EX

Rank 1, heals for 80, you take bonus 5% dmg from enemy champs Rank 2, heals for 120, take bonus 10% dmg
