When you counter an OP champ in lane
"Omg what a boring lane" aka I'm not used to having to think or change my playstyle when i play my instawin freelo champ.

Someday I'll get to play a Veigar vs Nasus matchup and THEN we shall see the most boring lane in the history of league.
i remember i played this match up one time, we literally farmed for like 25 minutes, until i got bored a flashed 1 shoted him pretty much.
Hey, both of those champions have methods of setting up ganks on one another. If you want to see a boring matchup, try Vladimir vs Nunu.
trick statement you cant counter an op champion in lane
I don't know. Picking Taric against Riven top lane was a hilariously one-sided match if the Taric player didn't make horrible mistakes, even before Riven was repeatedly nerfed. Get Ninja Tabi, Iceborn, and rank up W for 200 armor and good damage.

There is a counter for every OP champion. Its just some champion's counters are weak against everything else.

ok
Its sad that the meta has changed from meaningful skill counters to just cheesing your opponent. This happens most with toplane now
cheeses and gets nerfed >>>

cheeses and soon to be nerfed.
Passive farm lanes are a 'playstyle'.
In my experience Vladimir top beats Gnar because while they both have poke Vlad has sustain.
I find that's most a skill-matchup honestly. If Vladimir can dodge the boomerang and knows when to harass or play safe, he should be fine. If Gnar knows how and when to force engages or poke, he should be fine.
Though, I find Gnar can get the advantage if he gets Hexdrinker first and can successfully all-in the Vlad with it while he's still weak.
