rtbf2256182414 votesNo it wasn't. Don't blow shit out of proportion. URF's modifiers haven't been changed really so until a champion gains 80% cooldown reduction, it will not be in any way comparable.
And old URF was changed into ARURF because people realized what the meta was - 
constant shitheads like these ones over here who basically took away the fun from everyone and ruined the game mode by completely warping the meta around them as THEY were the meta and still are had to be forced to be put in line without getting removed from the game mode. So they were only removed from the selection instead as was everyone else for the sake of RNG, apparently.

Balance team has always been a complete joke. I really wish I could work for Riot as their balance team. Put a bunch of nonsensical reasoning, put in a few random changes, and give a half assed excuse why, and get paid for it. No actual thinking required.

Yeah because nobody wants to actually play League lol.. People find enjoyment off of that gamemode because Dominion is gone, its the only gamemode where you're in control partially and theres some element of entertainment and playability.

One thing I've noticed is that everybody's ults are up like all the time. Zed, talon, yasuo etc.. I swear I feel like their ults are always up. Ive seen a zed ult twice in a teamfight… not sure if that is common or not, but I don't remember that happening back in the day.

Maybe Riot could be respectful of their community at times then lol. They often do good work but they've not got a great track record as of late of listening to the community. There's a reason people think Riot are a joke. They keep reinventing the wheel with pointless tweaks and reworks for the sake of change and they also will ignore blatant balance issues for ages. The ardent censer getting away with 6 months of ruining the meta before getting a nerf and then suddenly a bunch of shield/heal nerfs happening months into the next season when Fighters/Assassins are on the rise makes them seem willingly ignorant or out of touch.
Hell even if we ignore stuff like that, there have been years of time where the boards has had a good opinion of Riot and even though you'd regularly see whiney threads they'd often get downvoted or ignored. It's really been recently when people have been clearly aware Riot ignores these boards that it's become a rant board for the most part. After all, constructive, long thought out threads are ignored the majority of the time and it takes a lot of time and effort to compile these kinds of threads. Meanwhile someone like Hashinshin goes on a screed about how Riot games needs to kill themselves and every toplaner every starts saying "HASHINSHINS RIGHT" and suddenly tons and tons of changes to Fighters to make them stronger come through. Riot doesn't reward respect, clearly.
HalcyonDweller1 votesCommunication is a two way street, as long as the gameplay board is insistent that it's not their fault and it's all Riot's fault then they aren't ever going to change or fix their side of things. If gameplay wants to keep harassing Rioters then they can't reasonably expect Riot to care what gameplay has to say.
Riot absolutely should make more of an effort to fix relations with us. But it's a two-way street. We ought to take responsibility for our part in things too. Being tilted is fair, but choosing to do nothing to overcome it and get better is not.

People can only try leading an actual discussion for so long if other side is adamantly refusing to listen.
So, If I want to express my dissatisfaction about the state of the game I could write a paragraph upon paragraph explaining in detail why the game isn't balanced, with maths to prove it and accomplish essentially nothing except wasting my time because Riot wants games to be short, flashy, E-sports and internet cafe friendly. Or I could spend 5 minutes making a joke to stab at Riot's incompetence. Both will have exactly the same effect in a greater picture of things: none.

I'm glad you see that it's an issue on both sides. Most people here just insist that it's all Riot's fault. These people claim that they shouldn't have to change their ways. IMO, as long as they contribute to the problem then they can't reasonably expect Riot to fix it either. Communication is a two way street.
We need to do a better job of shutting down people who care more about putting Rioters down than they do about having their concerns heard.
