leblanc chain is super effective on vlad pool? WTF Riot?
While playing a ranked game today i was mid and I saw leblanc was most likely mid. So i had the intuition of allow me to choose vlad, my pool will obviously cut her chain and allow me an easy get away for early game. So i got to lane and we both reach level 3. She does the leblanc combo. q, jump and pop it. then chain which I responded to pool after the combo. I took the dmg from the q and then the same from the jump. But the chain. The chain remained attatched and popped. Snaring me in place while in pool still. I remained the full duriation of my pool basically snared. Idk if this is intentional in order for her to counter vlad. But if its not then my goodness does it do just that. I found myself most game losing 20% of my health to pool only to be immediately snared in place.
I feel that RIOT made vlads pool as a crucial escape tool and one way to make you feel slightly safe at a cost of alot of your health. leblanc completely ruins it with this chain and I find myself very terrified as I try and anticipate her chains to attempt to dodge them. this feels like it would be the same as her chain staying attached after a zed ult was used. I wont complain about the range of her chain or any of that, but could we at least fix this to where there is one champion who can lane against leblanc and not feel threatened as much. please riot, can we fix this?
