Buffs or nerfs gone wrong starring Lethality/duskblade?
Hello
First i've always wondered why when there is a change or patch to an item or champion that they always change two or more instead of one. Mostly by changing two or more things and not just one the item or champion gets overnerfed or overbuffed. Can someone explain me whats the reasoning behind this? Thanks in advance.
Example: Duskblade
---------> Lethality +3 ---------> Unique effect buffs
Result of these changes everyone complains about duskblade resulting in a hotfix. Now everyone complains about the effect being so strong. But everyone forgets the raw power (lethality +3). So basicly the item is just raw buffed and got a cool new efffect. The AD went down tho and the lethality calculation changed. But basicly any solo laner will deal more dmg to a low lvl support/adc cuz they got more armor pen and thus almost deal true dmg to low armor targets --> they can instakill a low lvl target which isnt healthy. Now everyone complains about the effect. But can we please change the lethality to 15 from 18 OR revert the lethality calculations cuz thats the real problem here.
TL;DR Changing a bunch of stuff makes it hard to balance an item or champion after a buff or nerf. Lethalithy got raw buffed, assasins take over the game, duskblade is out of control cuz more then one change: lethalithy + effect resulting in a not wanted hotfix.
History repeats itself aka Assassin/duskblade dominating the games!
PS: Goodjob on the tank changes, i expected them to destroy any AD champion dmg output but the items are really balanaced.
