Yeah....No. Sure, it stops smurfs, but...it also stops most everything. Because people fucking hate mandatory phone verification to play a game. Or to do anything.

Optional phone verification, such as for Clash or opt-in 2fa? That's good. People don't get upset at that. Mandatory? People fucking hate it.
