Let's Talk Baron

I'm gonna be honest, I don't really see the point of Baron Nashor. I get that it's for siege and whatever, but when was the last time a team was getting destroyed, managed to grab this buff, then came back? I'd say this is probably 5% of Baron use. The other 95% is a team that's already destroying yours takes 15 seconds out of their busy day to go take this guy down, then comes back to your base that you were barely holding onto, and now has unkillable mega minions that will ultimately lead to your demise. It all just seems kinda CoD Killstreak-esque ("Oh you're destroying your enemies? Here have a plane that flies around and nukes them so they can get rekt even harder"). I think maybe the buff should be kicked back to the old one, or re-worked into a different kind of buff, but as it stands Baron is just a little bit too strong in my opinion.

Baron buff is basically meant to be a siege-breaker. If the opposing team is turtling so well that you can't push into their base, Baron buff is usually enough to tip the scales and get the game moving again.

I guess from that standpoint it seems pretty solid, but I rarely see it go to a team that ACTUALLY needs that extra push.
