J4's ult description is that it is a "impassable" wall....then why is it that riven can Q in and out like it's some kinda joke? Make it so that dashes can't pass through, but blinks like flash can still get away. Now days, almost every meta champion has some sort of mobility, making J4's ult at best, very situational.
Edit: Perhaps nerfing a bit of j4's damage in exchange for his ult being actually capable of trapping people inside.
Q can pass through it.
It needs to be at least a LITTLE thicker.

I think it needs to be thicker. Don't let those crap dashes get through it, but dashes you can actually engage fights with (Sej, Gragas, J4 himself) can get through the wall. I;ll let Riot be the decider on where the cut-off is
the same can be said of Anivia's W. it is "impassable" terrain, but anything can dash, flash or blink through it
something that is kind of nice is that it's like a 5 second ward in bushes though XD
Increase wall thickness on J4 and anivias walls by 50%
Mini dashes no longer pass through it
An alternative suggestion
J4 walls now stop all enemy dashes but the walls now automatically crumble if J4 leaves the area (Janna ulting him out as an example)
too.
Only block enemy dashes though; it'd suck as J4 not to be able to EQ out of your own R, since it's really useful for just trapping people
J4 used to be op, so he did not need the buff, but right now he is totally out shinned by other junglers. When 
's Q can go through it, it ain't a "impassable" wall. At least make it thicker so only longer dashes like 
can get out.
I've seen people walk out of J4's ult. It's not a reliable way to escape, but when the walls so thin that once in a while you can just stroll away it might be time to take a look at them. It's getting to the point where I try to use the ult as burst damage, and the walls are more of a secondary effect that's nice if they manage to trap someone. It should be the other way around.
As a J4 main, this might make him too Over Powered. I like that they treat his cataclysm as Terrain. If you can dash throughout terrain, you can dash through cataclysm. I use his ult as an execute/follow up anyway rather than an engage most of the time.
A low cool down ult that almost always forces a flash is a very very good ability. If you don't have flash and your dash is on cool down/non existent, you're pretty much screwed.
Now, Bugs like being able to just -walk- out of cataclysm. Fix those.

I can't support this. J4 would become very very over powered. HOWEVER, at least they could change it so that people cant just walk through his ult...
This would be far too powerful. His ganks would rise a ridiculous number of tiers from this change as for many laners, the only possible counterplay would be to flash. In other words, J4 would become the type of jungler that ults you, makes you flash, then comes right back. It would be far more effective than even Vi because of the fast wall generation and the long lasting terrain. It would make his team fight godly. It would make champions like Azir and Viktor even more powerful than they already are.
Needs a silence field for the duration, inside the walls of the arena so that those pesky Ezreals can't just Arcane Shift away instantly. It would work thematically as most people would be stunned into silence by the abrupt "DEMACIA" shouted right into their ears as he leaps, causing the deaf status effect as well (can't hear Sona's music for the duration).
Making you use a movement ability is useful for Jarvan's team as well. Stop pretending like it's not.

Wont happen, it would be broken as hell. Btw Jarvan buff is ready on pbe and it is a fine one.
