Sated Devourer Not Working

So Ive JUST play a game of master yi and i noticed that after ive upgraded to sated devourer, my on hit effects didnt didnt proc twice with every other auto, normally i see a shadow of myself attacking the enemy every other auto, but this didnt happen last game, so im wondering whats up with that.
