If you gave up on the community then you gave up on yourself seeing as you're ALSO part of the community, along with all your friends also playing league. You know what happened to me last night? I had a troll top in my game when I was jungling, he whined and bitched at me all game for not helping him towerdive a lvl 4 riven under her tower after I already spent a minute in his river bush to countergank if the enemy jungler came up since he was pushing without wards. He was a complete cunt, he even went AFK for a few minutes before coming back to avoid leaverbuster punishments only to spam laugh in fountain.
Did I "deserve" a troll in my game, raging at me every 3 seconds because I chose not to give the enemy riven a double kill under her tower? No, not really, but I don't "deserve" to not have trolls on my team either, if I get a troll then oh well, trolls happen, if not then great, my team can focus on winning the game much more easily. We don't "deserve" good teams, it's up to us to help get our team from point A to point B, if I get a troll then oh well, there's still 3 other people on my team I can help and if we still lose then there's always next game.
The teams we get are either good or bad, it's up to us as individual players to make the best, or worst, of the people we're playing with, trolls should be treated like an outside factor to test how well you can keep yourself calm, and keep your team focusing on winning, consider trolls a leadership exercise, that way even if you lose you still come out with something to use in later games.
