Leaving because of assholes.

Dear riot forcing me to play with a bunch of assholes is beyond stupid. I will not be disrespected and be forced to sit there and pretend I'm having fun.Having people say "Omg your so bad, uninstall" or some other nonsence. Why does riots leaver system not make any sense. I will tell you why

Say you are playing monopoly with a bunch of friends and you have to go halfway through the game. All of a sudden Monopoly police storm into your house and take away your game and tell you, "you can't play for so many days". Would you seriously put up with that Bullshit? Probably not, So why must we be forced agianst our will to play a match we have no interest of playing because the players are putting a bad taste in our mouth.

Riot you are quite litterally asking us to go agianst human nature.

You simply cannot take away someones freedom of choice just because the game is in cyber space. And saying oh! you still have a choice but you will face consequences, that's basically fascsim and compleatly inappropriate. Its no better than pointing a gun at someones head and saying do this or die. Sure you still have the choice .. but the choice is a nonchoice.

The choice is eithier leave the game and ruin the match for 4 people and take a penalty. Honestly imo, If i am being told I am being bad or w/e and their just being dicks. I don't see why I have to put up with it. If i am so bad maybe leaving is the best choice. If they really don't need me. Thats how I look at it.

Or you stay and you basically just go through the motions of "playng" the game as you take flak from your own teams. you become demoralised and it is really depressing. I would rather leave a toxic enviroment before my mind becomes like theirs.

I prefer to leave in these situations simply because their being jerks. why should i put up with jerks?

I don't think you can give a GOOD argument as to why i should be forced to stay and play with jerks even if i end up ruining their game by leaving. They should have thought of that before disrespecting me.

If you refuse to use the mute button and can't handle the assholes, don't stay. There is no problem with you leaving if you want.

However, you're really taking this all too seriously. You're actually comparing restrictions to losing your freedom to fascist police at gunpoint? No, it's just a game, and there are rules that everyone has to abide by. They are very simple rules, and very easy to follow.

Because if you have 4 teammates and 3 of thems are A-holes you quitting ruins the game for 4th sane teammate.

n3ac3y said it was like playing basketball, then having a member of your team say he's not going to play...... but YOU CAN'T just ignore him and go play another game with other people who DO want to play, you HAVE to stay. THAT is bullshit. You become a HOSTAGE of stupidity/asininity. Gnar

I'm going to bump this, despite being a year old, because the exact same thing just happened to me and I'm pretty pissed.

I was in ARAM and got Kayle. I don't like Kayle. I suck as Kayle. It was an impulsive buy that I absolutely regret and I already used my 3 refunds. I had no rerolls and a teammate who got Xerath refused my trade. I thought "Fair enough, I don't accept trades I'm not comfortable with either". So I accepted that this match was, most likely, going to be unpleasant and that my lack of skill with this particular champion was going to draw the ire of my teammates despite my best efforts to play decently.

Gee, how did I guess?

My teammates raged and whined like it was a HUGE deal that we were gonna lose, and boasted about how many more kills they had, and how many more deaths I had, that I should learn how to play, called me noob and kid, etc. Suffice it to say, it was REALLY unpleasant.

I got fed up with that shit. And since we're not allowed to leave mid-game because it ruins it for all the good, poor players, I had to take the extreme measure of bringing up the task manager and terminating all LoL processes. I COULD suck it up and go the rest of the game ignoring them, but they had already made me feel like shit and I lost my motivation. The damage was done, and no mute button was gonna help fix that. Now, I know they probably reported me, and I couldn't give a rat's ass.

Now Riot can explain to me why I got an unfavourable Champion, tried to do my best despite this fact, attempted to COUNSEL a teammate who was suiciding, got shit from the rest of my jerk team and I'M the one who ends up reported and possibly banned for leaving.

Dear Riot, you don't seem to understand how the LoL players you so adamantly try to protect are the same LoL players who act like spoiled brats who will certainly DIE if they lose a game, and instead of punishing those players who've had enough, try to promote the idea that losing a game doesn't mean DEATH TO US ALL, and maybe let bots take over if someone does leave, so that teams don't become handicapped. I don't care what the consequences are to myself, I will NOT play a game that makes me feel like crap. All of this could have been avoided if Leaverbuster wasn't such bullshit.
