Talon's E canceling ult?

I just noticed that every time I tried to ult > E over a wall > Q someone in a game that my ult canceled as soon as I vaulted, even though the last time I played a few weeks ago I know that he could definitely ult then E then Q without the E canceling his ult, I was wondering if this was an unintended change or bug because I've seen no mention of this in the patch notes.

E cancels ult. This is intended. However, you can activate ult while in motion from E, but any further uses will still cancel ult.

This is done for balance reasons, even though it is anti-thematic.

If he could E during ulti, it'd be pretty busted. I actually like that his E cancels this ulti tho as it gives you a quick way to cancel and retract the blades in some situations.
