Indicator Help Please!

I am having extreme difficulty getting my indicators to behave as they used to. Maybe they no longer work the way I was accustomed to. At first I had NO indicators showing at all. I was able to get indicators to show, but they do not behave the way I thought I had them setup before.

Is there a way to have the spell NOT activate simply by releasing the mouse button? I was sure that before I could click the button and the indicator would appear. I could then "aim" the spell and it would not activate until I released the mouse button AND reclicked the button. Now it is simply casting the instant I release the mouse button the 1st time. Although it may not be the best way to play the game, i really prefer to have the spells only activate on the 2nd mouse click.

It's just way easier for me to run and cast and cancel when the first click activates the spell, and the 2nd click casts, rather than just the release from the first click casts. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for any help.
