S ranks for Support make NO logical sense

Played support a lot (select fill). I have played games where i was like 6-6-15 and I get an S rating. Played games where I am 0/2/11 and didn't get even an A+ (get A or A-).

As a support, it's obviously better to have NO kills. Seems like the rating system punishes you for that. Anyone else seeing the same situations? I like chests and I also like playing the game how it's meant to be played (to give best chance to win). Seems like support should be setup that way as far as rank, so you don't have to pick between the two.

Idk how many times this has been explained on boards, but basically, the system compares you to other people who play the same champion in the same role This means that your K/D/A ratio means nothing without begin compared to other people playing the same champ in the same role (presumably within the same skill bracket as you as well). Don't worry, the system isn't particularly punishing you (Other than how it normally punishes league players every day ever ;) ).

Poppy One of the easiest champions to get an s on. Think I had someone got like 2-4-6 and got an S on her or something lol.... As support.

I went 0-12-13 before we surrendered and I got like an A.. So Poppy has lots of room and S potential.

kills arnt the only thing that factor into getting s rank and having no kills doesnt make you a good support nor does having a lot of kills. cs counts dont tell me you arnt allowed to touch the cs when the adc is backing or roaming or late game so does contributions to map objectives towers dragons barons warding etc
