What is the urf hype about?

DISCLAIMER (Before someone goes and kills me in the comment section, I would like to say that this is my personal opinon, I actually need feedback from you guys but dont get personal please)

I literally don't understand why people hype over URF so hard. Like this is what URF is, its an unbalanced gamemode (especially in ARURF). Whoever gets the better champions and the most broken will win the game. There's no counterplay, barely require teamwork (when i say this im talking about one person can singlehandly carry a game). The lanes are snowbally as ****. I dont get why RIOT still runs this event, they even said people quit more when they run URF because of the playerbase realize the slow pace of the actual game.

Yes, there are some good sides behind URF as well, playing with friends can be quite fun and you all can laugh and have a fun time. But even then you could also play with your friends and get totally stomped so hard.

But that is all URF has to offer, in conclusion I dont think URF should be a thing anymore.

It'd be a good mode if it let you pick your champions and had 10 bans but I guess we don't have the technology for that yet.

Caring if the ARURF is balanced OMEGALUL URF in general is about having fun unlike ARURF that is absolute garbage... But yes ARURF is all about better team comp wins

Riot should bring back the actual URF because people didn't left the game because of URF they left the game because riot decided to fuck up for no reason. People will always come back for URF or OFA because riot doesn't want to say sorry for fucking everything up...

What if i told you you could play poppy but your body slam CD is lower than it's stun time. Sounds rad right? just smacking someone against the wall? Or Playing Singed perma ulted, or shaco just jumping around fucking with everyone. or even akali who can actually just dash without even a second cd in between (i swear i can't follow the cds of this champ in urf).

The problem is, your enemies have that shit too.

If i get around to it, i'll probably play 1 or 2 games of urf but most likely only because some premade asks.

edit: I didn't expect a compensation for clash. but the fact that ARURF is the compensation kinda dissapoints me more than not getting anything.

Dude, ARURF was a Joke for April Fools and its supposed to be unbalanced that's the ENTIRE point of it. I don't know why people wont at least try to have fun instead of being desperate for some OP champ and to win every single game. There is no reason to question people's hype for URF, if you don't enjoy it then just don't play it.

i play it a couple times then done each time. IMO most shitters like it because they can get a broken OP champ and actually carry a game when normally them carrying a game is like a leap year

ARURF is shit. URF is what people get hyped for.
