How do I get a chat restriction?

Someone got so mad because I said "I pinged you back you still fought and then blame me" you know what my vayne replied to that? "ok im gonna play if kata knifes her self" and then I said "wow you are a psycho you told me to take my life over a video game when you are one devision below with 49% winrate" and little do I know I get a chat restriction. And he doesnt get anything?? This is seriously de-motivating, and not fun at all. sometimes I just wanna quit league. Like it is okay if I get a chat restriction might as well put me in that 7 day ban it was quite toxic, but to think that peeople like that vayne get away after saying something like that insane.

Another player's behaviour is and NEVER was considered in regards of punishing someone who violates ToU. If you break the rules for social behaviour you are being punished for that. The other player's behaviour is his problem so if you reported him he will get punished too of course.

You alone are responsible for your behaviour and your account. Be sure that this is only a chat ban so you still have the chance to understand this and not get carried away from another players bad behaviour again.
