To continue our discussion since I think you've got the best argument so far on this and rather than getting sidetracked by some of the more virulent posters let's continue here.

My concern is that we don't have enough data to say that Riot survey methods were wrong or how they did the surveys was biased since they did more than one. I did several including one dealing with ranked solely I believe where it asked about past, present and future ranked and your experiences with those. What were your main complaints, what would you like to see improved etc.

Have you tried popping on Twitter and asking Lyte to post the data similar to when they did the last big survey/data collection? As in what were the parameters on how they arrived at the decision that most of the playerbase wants Dynamic Q currently. How many surveys were sent out, how many responded, what % played rank, what was the % of each division, etc. How did the breakdowns work out for each factor of response/question.

This is the info I'd like to see since of all the stuff flying around the only thing that really is important is the data and how it was gathered and interpreted since if done wrong it calls into question the results. If done right then the results would be confirmed but the vocal crowd that for all intents and purposes is still a minority unless it can prove with it's own data otherwise.

If looking at this impassionately and from the outside Riot is catering to the majority of it's player base which has always been the casual players and who provides the most income. Because unless and until the ranked player base becomes more than 50% of the playerbase and spends an equal or greater share of the money that business philosophy will stay.

Again I'd like to see Solo Q return but only a solo Q, no Duo Q at all since if people really want to be challenged it's 5v5 scrub match, total strangers versus total strangers. That is the truest test of skill since if you Duo Q that isn't a true test of your individual skill at all.
