Runeglave Ezreal...

Why is runeglave ezreal still a thing? I don't mean why is it being played, thats obvious. Its really broken. I mean, why is it still being allowed? Riot almost nurfed Ez, then thought nah. Riots explanation for laners having smite was that it increases strategy and is further growing the game because of why they are grabing smite. Either to counter jungle, get objectives easier.. ect. But like a lot of the cynderhulk tanks taking smite top, ez isnt taking smite for much of a reason other then he want to one shot you with 1 Q. I think it would be interesting if they made a change to the smite items, you cant finish the item unless you clear 10 jungle camps or something. Most junglers easily do that before they finish it anyways, and it would take laners a lot longer before they could get the jungle item.

well if youre up to date with the pbe, they already nerfed it just hasnt hit live yet

They're nerfing what made AP Ezreal popular, yes, but my question is would Runeglaive still be better in AP Ezreal than Lich Bane, if only for the CDR and early boost with better base AD scaling?

I was thinking they start changing jungle items alittle bit, imo runeglaive is just bad after the nerf to it in 5.14 patch.

I've yet to see a single ezreal do well with Runeglaive so I don't think it's "OP" I just hate when I get the ez on my team to be dumb enough to try it.

Ez has a bad habit of getting a jungle item nerfed every season. Instead of changing how Ez interacts with those items and saving us all some trouble, Riot chooses to nerf the jungle items (and by extension all the junglers that use the item) instead.
