Ekko and Counters... and stuff....

Ekko counters and more.

Ekko is a manatee, are you kidding me! But seriously. Ekko and Ryze are in a good spot. They have clear counters and have ways to deal with it. I will admit that both of them may need to be tuned a little better. The fact is if Ekko snowballs, he will destroy your team, same with Kat, Yi, LeBlanc, or a myriad of others I won't care to list.

Ekko isn't balanced. Free ult is absurd. It has a heal, a teleport, and a damage component. The damage is really high and so is the heal. It's not a hard ult to use and it doesn't take skill because it's such a safe ult. Heal in to a team fight and still win since it does so much damage... and costs no mana. Like, who the F thought this was a good idea?

  • Needs a mana cost AND
  • Damage has to be reduced severely due to the high base heal and scaling % or reduce the healing due to the high damage. Pick one. You can't have everything PLUS the teleport and no costs.

Played my first match against him and easily the most OP new champ I've seen. High damage, high escape, incredible utility. I wonder if Riot just shows low numbers this quarter so they made a champ more OP than usual to up sales lol. ugh makes me contemplate DOTA.

Ekko is complete bullshit. He's by far the most simple champion to understand and play as. He's even easier to play as than Sona. Literally any asshat could play and win as ekko without even trying.
