Any Jayce Players?

I recently bought Jayce, and he seems really fun, but I just can't get the hang of him. Specifically, when to use which form. Which is his "dominant", and when do you switch to the other one? i've played quite a bit of Nidalee, and she's pretty simple (human 90% of the time, switch to cougar to burst down hunted targets/escape).

He plays very much like Nidalee actually. You want to be in cannon form most of the time (60%) then switch to hammer when you go in for a kill, need a speed boost to escape or chase (switching forms does this), and to regen mana in lane with basic attacks.
