Dynamic Queue Doesn't Make Games Less Toxic (Please Bring Back Soloq)
This is not a scientific approach because I am just speaking from my own experience; the only constant in the equation is me. That being said, I have seen no difference in the toxicity levels after the implementation of dynamic queue. What have I seen? Much longer queue times and a much larger gap in mmr leading to ridiculously lopsided games. Many people in my queues troll before the game begins and say that they no longer care about ranked. Premades whom I play against routinely show poor sportsmanship by arrogantly boasting when they win. If I do anything wrong, I automatically get flamed by my team; there is never any encouragement or support.
No, I am not bronze, but I guess you could call me a casual. I have played about 500 games and float around mid gold. Let me be clear, I am not saying the toxicity levels are worse than they have been. They just haven't changed. It's not necessarily Riot's fault. It might have more to do with the players themselves. I would really like soloq back because games are still toxic and now more random than they have been before. Soloq is random yes, but it is a random batch of solo players of similar mmr. Dynamic queue adds another element of randomness to the mix by throwing team mmr, legal boosting, and a large mmr gap between players to relax queue times.
