Please, Bring Shen To The Jungle!

I personally LOVE Shen. He's one of the few Tanks/Bruisers you could even consider having a moderate skill-cap and he feels so satisfying to play. In that sense, Shen has a decently healthy jungle clear but is very, very slow at clearing said jungle. That being said, he also feels like a champ that would be a jungler if Riot would shift his kit just a little to make his clear faster.

Here are the changes I'd suggest: If his Twilight Assault passes through a large/epic monster, give him 50% of the buff he normally gets, adjust the maximum monster damage to be higher and remove the current monster damage passive: Empowered attacks against monsters instead deal 100% bonus damage. That means if it passes through a large monster it'll give 25% increased attack speed and deal 10-40+(3.5/4/4.5/5/5.5+1.75 per 100 AP)% Target Max HP per hit. Beyond that, the only other thing that would have to change would be his passive shield. I was always confused as to why the cooldown doesn't reduce on ability damage to large/epic monsters in general. The Ki-Barrier passive could also be reduced by 50% if need be making Ki Barrier's cooldown reduced by 2 − 3.75 (based on level) seconds if the ability activating Ki-Barrier hits a large/epic monster.

This is my idea for a better Shen Jungle. What do you think?

He has nice dueling capabilities and his clear isn't really weak. He can't take raptors unless he has Tiamat, that's his only weakness.

And we need an ADC ninja.

I want Gnar to be a jungle viable champion. after all, we have a mad wolf, a big grey cat and a cougar-human transformer in the role, why can't Gnar be in it? Especially since both the jungler cats, just like Gnar, are completely uncivilized and wild. When laner champions are usually some people who come from civilized cities or areas of the world, they are rarely feral or wild. I have tried it many times before, and the only problem I see with it is his shitty camp farming.

I litterally just played shen in clash as my jungle pick, he is a very strong pick especially in this current jungle meta, the buffs you're proposing only seem to be to make it easier to jungle with him which I dont think are necessary

Shen is a tank which is cancer. I don't want him in jungle. I disagree

Jungle Shen is kinda viable. The clear speed is a little bit low, yes, but your survivability is stonks.

we'd actually need shen to be in the game for that first, so how about we just bring shen back?

Doesn't even need to do more damage, can just be that if his Sword passes through a large or epic monster, his passive goes on cooldown for half the time instead. Incentivizes some niche outplay potential as top Shen, and gives a bit of a better clear for jungle while retaining the counterplay that an enemy jungle can clear quicker and impact the map faster out of virtue of not being a tank jungler (which is usually the trade-off). Also would let him compete with normal junglers as a viable pick beyond hard casual.

Right so.. I can appreciate the enthusiasim, however, you should know Shen has always been able to jungle. He has percentage health damage on his Q and W blocks all attacks even from monsters.

I've regularly jungled on Shen for the last few seasons and Foxdrop just did a video about it this last week.
