Toxicity

I would like to talk about true toxicity in this game. And i'm not talking about people who flame and rage, in my view, there are chat filters and mute and block features for a reason. What we should really be looking at are the people who cause otherwise healthy players to exhibit such behaviors by creating a really awful environment for them to play in. Best example of this i can possibly think of: guy picks master yi. goes into jungle. builds devourer. does NOT A SINGLE THING to even attempt to help his team at any point during the game. Is only concerned with his KDA and watching other people die so that he can come in and clean up kills by pressing Q and right clicking.

This is equivalent to riot hiring a graphic designer at 60k a year who instead of drawing champion art or anything useful just draws massive turds all day long. On top of this, the supposed way that riot should behave towards this person is to just be positive and be like "nice turds guy! maybe we can one day make a turd champion to put all of these to good use"

In reality though, this person would be fired almost immediately. I don't understand why it is so wrong to speak out against these players. If you go to play sports with friends and someone ignores the rules completely does that not ruin the game for everyone?

This "let them be as toxic as they want as long as they arent saying anything mean" logic is beyond stupid. If someone was put on your team at work and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help the team you are telling me you would pat them on the back for dragging everyone down? yeah right.

The tribunal and methods of punishment used in this game are not only ineffective but immoral as well. letting the truly toxic players run wild meanwhile people who want to actually play the game as it is intended are punished for being passionate about the game. it is to say the least a huge injustice.

If i come over to your house and take a dump on your carpet, i expect a pat on the back riot, not the police called. Stop living in a fantasy world where people are assholes to other people for no reason. Out of all the times i have seen someone rage at another player, MAYBE 5% of them were unprovoked or undeserved, most of the time I actually agree with the person who is pissed off but i cannot say anything for fear of being punished for being "mean" to the guy who is ruining my game and my experience playing it, not to mention wasting my time and everyone elses.

If riot does not have the time to review cases on their own and watch games on their own then they shouldn't be punishing anyone for anything ever. sorry but it is really easy to take things out of context or to just throw the context out the window entirely and ban people based on their reaction to having one of their favorite things ruined.

TLDR: Riot needs to stop punishing people who get mad at trolls in ranked and start punishing the real trolls.
